Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Broadbeach Pest Control website and the pest control services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Service Descriptions

Broadbeach Pest Control provides professional pest control services to residential and commercial customers across the Gold Coast, Queensland. Our services include general pest control, cockroach control, rodent control, spider treatment, ant control, mosquito control, bed bug treatment, wasp removal, end of lease pest treatment, end of lease flea treatment, German cockroach treatment, and commercial pest management.

All treatments are performed by licensed technicians holding a Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) pest management licence. Our licence number is PMT013679225.

The specific scope of work, treatment areas, products used, and pricing will be confirmed in writing (via email or SMS) before any service is performed. We do not proceed with any treatment without your explicit approval of the quoted price.

Prices quoted on our website and in written communications are inclusive of GST.

Booking and Payment Terms

Bookings can be made via our website quote form, by phone (0488 185 941), by email, or by SMS.

For end of lease and general pest control services, payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, and credit/debit card payments.

For commercial contracts and scheduled maintenance programs, payment terms are 14 days from the date of invoice unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.

A booking is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation message (email or SMS) with your scheduled date and time.

If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Late rescheduling may incur a $50 administrative fee if the technician has already been dispatched.

6-Month Warranty Terms

All residential general pest control treatments come with a 6-month warranty from the date of service.

The warranty covers the re-treatment of your property at no additional cost if the same pest species covered in the original treatment returns within 6 months.

The warranty does not cover: new pest species not treated in the original service; pest reinfestation caused by unaddressed structural defects (e.g., new entry points, leaking pipes); or reinfestation from neighbouring properties beyond our control.

To claim the warranty, contact us within the 6-month period and describe the pest activity you are seeing. We will arrange a follow-up inspection and, if warranted, a complimentary re-treatment.

End of lease treatments carry a bond-back guarantee: if your property manager raises concerns about our treatment or certificate, we will return and re-treat the property at no charge.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel or reschedule a booking at any time by calling 0488 185 941 or emailing admin@broadbeachpestcontrol.com.au.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service incur no charge.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a $50 cancellation fee to cover technician travel and scheduling costs.

If we arrive at the property and are unable to gain access, a $50 no-access fee will apply.

Refunds: if you are dissatisfied with the service, contact us within 14 days and we will arrange a complimentary re-treatment. If you remain dissatisfied after the re-treatment, we will provide a full refund upon written request.

Limitation of Liability

Broadbeach Pest Control carries $20 million in public liability insurance.

We will take all reasonable care during our treatments to protect your property, pets, and belongings. However, we are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage to property, furniture, or fixtures that was not disclosed to us before treatment.

Damage caused by the customer failing to follow pre-treatment or post-treatment instructions provided by our technician.

Consequential or indirect losses arising from pest activity before or after treatment (e.g., food spoilage, business interruption).

Allergic reactions or sensitivities to treatment products, provided we used Australian-approved products in accordance with label directions.

Our total liability for any single service is limited to the amount paid for that service or the cost of a complimentary re-treatment, whichever is greater.

Australian Consumer Law Compliance

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the services rectified if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms of Service limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Property Access and Preparation

The customer is responsible for ensuring our technician has safe access to all areas requiring treatment.

For end of lease treatments, if the tenant has already vacated, we can collect keys from the real estate agent or property manager if arranged in advance.

Customers must remove pets from the property during treatment and for the period specified by the technician (typically 2-4 hours). Fish tanks should be covered and aquarium air pumps turned off during treatment.

Customers should remove or cover food preparation surfaces and store pet food bowls before treatment.

We reserve the right to refuse service if the property presents a safety hazard to our technician.
